I'm a molecular biologist by training, a communicator by calling, and a builder by necessity. For ten years I've worked to make science feel like it belongs to everyone, and I've kept my own delight at the center of all of it. I also chair the Ethics Consortium at the Association of Science Communicators, where the field works out how science earns public trust.
